Saturday, November 2, from 9:00 am-2:00 pm

Free for all to attend!

The Farmers’ Museum in Cooperstown, New York, is proud to present the sixth annual Celebration of Our Agricultural Community: Annual Conference on Food & Farming.  This informative event, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at the Louis C. Jones Center of The Farmers’ Museum. The topic of this year’s conference is Opportunities in Agriculture.  During the morning session, experts in the field of education, business, production, and more will discuss changes in agriculture and the many different options available in the agricultural industry today.  Speakers during the afternoon session will address education and training available to those seeking to move into the agricultural arena.  This conference should be especially useful to high school and college students seeking more information about farming and the associated industries, as well as those older folks seeking a change of direction.  The conference is from 9 am to 3:30 pm, and lunch is available on site.  For more information please contact John Ferguson at j.ferguson@farmersmuseum.org.
