Fenimore Art Museum and The Farmers’ Museum in Cooperstown are the perfect places to celebrate Dad and show him how much you appreciate all he does through the year. To honor dads this year, both museums will recognize Father’s Day by offering free admission to all fathers on Sunday, June 17 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Bring the entire family! At Fenimore, view our collections and seven current exhibitions including the new Thomas Cole and The Garden of Eden and Edward Weston: Portrait of the Young Man as an Artist. After, take a stroll along the lakeshore and then head across the street to The Farmers’ Museum. There, experience Hops on Tap, a new program to learn about hops and craft brewing - past and present. Take our Hoppy Trails Tour at 11:00 a.m. to hear a brief history and discussion of beer, brewing, and hops–starting at Bump Tavern. At 1:00 p.m., join in on our Garden Hacks program where we’ll share our favorite tried-and-tested gardening tips with you–taking place in the Main Barn. Afterward, discover our antique tool collection and explore the historic village.
