Broom Maker Workshop: Crafting a Broom

April 30 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

How does a broom become a broom? Learn this and more in a holiday workshop in which you will transform a wooden handle, broom corn, and create a beautiful and functional handmade broom. Take home your own creation to clean house or give away as a special gift.

Lunch will be provided.

Location: Creamery Classroom

Class Fee: Members $85. Non-members $95.

All materials included. Requires advance registration, limited to 6 participants.

Please bring an apron or comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.

Currently, the museum requires proof of vaccination and masking to attend this program. However, due to the ever-evolving nature of the COVID-19 situation, protocol may be changed in the future. Please come prepared with proof of vaccination and a mask in the event that they are required. We thank you for understanding and helping us keep our visitors and staff safe.
