Classroom Resources
Schedule of Events
The Farmers’ Museum has a history of working closely with its sister institution, Fenimore Art Museum, to provide curriculum materials and resources for the classroom. These lessons and activities bring history to life by delivering hands-on and engaging lessons for your students, while meeting New York State learning standards. They introduce students to key themes in New York State history and help them to hone their analytical, interpretative, and literacy skills.
Educator Guides
Our Educator Guides provide background information and pre- and post-visit lesson plan ideas and worksheets to supplement our on-site tours and workshops, tying them even more closely with the classroom curriculum.
