Fenimore Art Museum and The Farmers’ Museum have an opening for a full-time Visitor Services Assistant. The Visitor Services department is comprised of Museum Admissions and the Museum Stores. This position provides direct support to the Visitor Services Manager by maintaining accurate attendance records for both museums and handling school and special event admissions. Retail responsibilities include ordering merchandise, maintaining the e-commerce sites, assisting with restocking, and maintaining records of product information. Additional responsibilities include scheduling of the Visitor Services staff, covering for staff lunch breaks, training and representing the department at management meetings when necessary.
