Programs

The Farmers' Museum offers a wide range of educational programming for people of all ages, from bee keeping to sheep shearing - as well as lectures, films, and special events.  New workshops and programs are being created all the time, so check back often to see what’s available.

Collections

The Farmers' Museum collections number more than 23,000 items ranging from butter molds to the Cardiff Giant. The collection of hand planes and other wood working tools is especially significant. The Historic Village is an excellent example of a mid-19th-century farming community in Central New York State complete with an authentic Blacksmith Shop, Pharmacy, Printing Shop, Lawyers Office, Farm, Tavern, General Store and much more.

Group Tours

Discounts are offered for groups with a minimum of 15 participants.  (This rate is not applicable for visiting school or youth groups.)  Confirmation is required two weeks prior to your visit. Special guided tours are available. The Fenimore Art Museum offers boxed or buffet lunches with several menu options.
