Beginning Blacksmithing II

This class is the second in a beginning level series. Projects and skills taught will build on and enhance those learned in Blacksmithing I, with the primary focus on increasing hammer control and accuracy. Students will learn forge welding, hot splitting and use of the peen and cone mandrel and will forge a variety of items such as a leaf hook, flux spoon, toasting fork, and a round trivet. Students must have at least the amount of experience gained in Blacksmithing I, or have permission of instructor.
Fee: $150, includes materials and an information packet.
