This weekend will be focused on our hop growing operation, the importance of hops in New York State, and the historical practices and uses associated with hops. We will highlight our hop field, have hands-on programming on the farm, and have hop-related activities throughout our village. Representatives for the Northeast Hop Alliance will be on site present to provide contemporary information about growing hops. There will also be programming on the history of hop growing in New York State, and tastings from several local breweries (Beer tastings on Sunday afternoon).
