Fenimore Art Museum and The Farmers’ Museum are seeking a qualified professional to serve as the Executive Assistant to the President. In this important role, the Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the President/CEO by coordinating FAM and Farmers’ Museum Board-related activities and maintaining an organized internal and external meeting schedule. Routine duties include answering phones, making travel arrangements, coordinating and scheduling meetings, and responding to emails. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks, and will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position requires the ability to handle confidential information, represent the institutions in a professional manner at all times, and set a positive tone as the representative for the President/CEO’s office, and the institutions.
Qualifications include a BA/BS degree and five years of administrative experience; and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and MAC operating system.
