Get Involved | Pioneer Society

We think of pioneers as historic figures whose efforts helped settle the land that is now the United States. Yet, a more contemporary meaning of pioneer is associated with leadership, vision and initiative into new areas of activity that are likely to have a powerful impact on the future. As the most important donor group of The Farmers’ Museum, The Pioneer Society reflects these roles by celebrating and preserving past traditions of agricultural life and the rural experience while addressing present and future issues affecting our lives today.

Pioneer Society members show their annual support with contributions of $1,000 and above. We invite you to consider joining your friends and neighbors in this leadership donor group. For more information about The Pioneer Society including the extended list of benefits, please contact Mr. John W. Carnahan, Vice President for Development at 607.547.1471 (direct line) or j.carnahan@nysha.org.
