The Farmers’ Museum invites you to look deeper into all our nooks and crannies, whisper into the ox’s ear as he plows a perfect furrow, peel away layers of wallpaper in the More house restoration project, get a first hand look at the engineering required to install the Empire State Carousel or lend your voice to the important dialogues about history and agriculture and art and craft - the legacy of New York culture. Join with others who are fascinated by New York State history and who have made the museum a great gathering place for the preservation of this public service.
Did you know that members of the New York State Historical Association receive free admission to The Farmers’ Museum as well as discounts for public events and merchandise purchased at Todds’ General Store and The Farmers’ Museum Store?
Members are invited to participate in a thousand ways; special events, lectures, parties, workshops and more at The Farmers’ Museum. They provide vital support for our exhibitions, educational programs, special events, collections and scholarship. An extra benefit is free admission to the Fenimore Art Museum across the street.
